Fran will be attempting to run faster than a man in an elephant costume in next years London Marathon to raise money for Children With Leukemia. I started out like many cartoonists submitting cartoons to the ever diminishing gag market These are a few from the archives that were published in either PRIVATE EYE or THE SPECTATOR. I still enjoy doing gag cartoons when I have the time but the days when I could devote much effort to drawing masses of work ‘on spec’ have long gone (Hopefully never to return).
